Site Engineer

Zemco Construction Ltd is currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated individual for the position of Site Engineer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for daily project execution activities in the site, by coordinating between Client, Consultant and Senior Management and by using approved schedules, drawings and materials.
  • Supervision of activities on site and reporting any fault, defect etc. to the project Engineer.
  • Preparing site progress reports
  • Control, and coordinate the works of subcontractors and report on their progress and or trends for problems / delays to Project Manager.
  • Responsible for daily site material, labour and equipment requirement. Also, responsible to raise purchase requisition for the above requirements.
  • Responsible for Assisting and Implementing Safety procedures in the project as per the company safety policy.
  • Planning and organizing the work.
  • Supervising and monitoring the site teams and monitoring the work of any subcontractors.
  • To be aware of and maintain an understanding of the contract documents, appropriate codes, standards and specifications.

Profile and Qualifications:

  • Should have a Civil Engineering Degree
  • Minimum 3-year Experience
  • Must have knowledge of AutoCAD, Planning tools and all Microsoft Office Products
  • Ability to work under pressure and be multi task oriented
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Experience in restoration of preserved buildings will be considered as an advantage
